A striped improvement of the original Delicious, inferior in color and typiness compared to today's selections, but superior in taste. Much more complex flavor with a honey component.

Visitor reviews
- 22 Mar 2020 NORTH WEST, South AfricaFor the last 10 years or more I have been very disappointed with the quality of Star King apples. They are the best tasting but unfortunately about 40% of them are rotten at the core although it appears perfectly healthy on the outside. Just imagine exporting such quality. Can something not be done as far as the cultivation of the apple is concerned? I have not experienced this problem with other varieties.
