- 06 Nov 2009 IOWA CITY, IOWA, United StatesI believe the "Starkrimson" Delicious was introduced by Stark Brothers Nursery in 1893-1894. The original "Delicious"(Hawkeye)apple seedling appeared near here about 1870.
